FRESH HANDMADE GNOCCHI

Gnocchi di patate, a typical dish of the "Tavole Italiane ". The original recipe of fresh gnocchi contains potatoes, "OO" flour and a pinch of salt. The potatoes are cooked and mashed, then mixed with the OO flour and then expertly kneaded until oval balls. The gnocchi is easy to cook, they are ready when they come to the surface of the boiling water. The possibilities in combinations are endless but traditionally gnocchi are cooked with tomato sauce, and decorated with a little Parmesan cheese and a leaf of basil.
